Meet Sonny

I grew up in Stone, and attended school in both Newcastle and Stoke. Through school trips and connections with friends, I was surrounded by the pottery industry growing up. When you are surrounded with such iconic history, it’s hard for that history not to make a lasting imprint on you.

That imprint shows itself unashamedly through the majority of my paper and print work, though other places and landmarks that are important to people close to me, often sneak through too.

My dogs mean the absolute world to me, so you often find a furry footprint through some of my pieces.

My work aims to bring a smile to your face, whether through its bright and bold colours, or through sparking a memory of a long forgotten moment in time. Within my detailed pieces you can look forever and still see something new each time, and in the more simple pieces you get a more wistful sense of calm.

My resin work ranges from dainty and subtle, right the way through to bold and in your face colour and sparkle. As with my paper art, I want your jewellery and home decor to make you smile, for you to hold it dear for years to come.
